The highlights of Disney World through Alex's eyes:
#2 Riding 3 times on the Nemo & Friends ride in a clamshell
(not the highlight of mom & dad's trip though)
#3 Talking to Crush (the "Dude" turtle from Nemo) & constantly shouting "My name is Alex" any time Crush asked a specific kid's name before hearing their question. Alex seemed to think
that Crush was only talking to him. It was adorable!
#4 Riding on Dumbo & It's a Small World rides twice. Of course, Alex now bursts out
in song with "It's a Small World" constantly.
#5 Riding Goofy's Roller Coaster. By the way, he loves roller coasters & even put
his hands up in the air the 2nd time he went on it.
#6 Seeing the Nemo Musical show
#7 Meeting all the Disney/Pixar characters at lunches & dinners
#8 Taking a Jungle Cruise boat ride
#9 Being a part of the Playhouse Disney show & seeing Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse,
My Friends Tigger & Pooh, and Handy Manny
#10 Riding on the Safari and seeing all the animals (even animals doing their business)

In spite of the wind and rain we had a great time (especially during short periods of dryness).
Must-Do's: bring a stroller, regularly infuse your kid(s) with sugar (to replace naps), get a giant beer at the Biergarten, see the Nemo musical at Animal Kingdom, ride the Aerosmith roller coaster at Hollywood Studios (0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds), see Turtle Talk with Crush at Epcot, see Mickey's Philharmagic at Magic Kingdom, and eat dessert at Wolfgang Puck's in Downtown Disney.
Don't-Do's: go during a tropical storm that will make landfall 4 times in Florida while you are there and drop 30+ inches of rain in some spots, ride the Clam-mobile 3 times (it's only cute the first time), wait in line 60 minutes to meet Mickey at Toontown (instead, get a Disney Visa, then go to Epcot where you can meet Mickey/Minnie/Pluto in a 2 minute line for Disney Visa holders and get a free 5x7, see picture), or ride It's a Small World (you will, but you shouldn't).
